Rachel's Baptism
October 17, 2009 was a very special day for Rachel Mary Handrich. She joined a community of faith through the sacrament of baptism. Rachel was VERY well behaved throughout the entire mass! Not even a whimper when the holy water hit her head...Dinner was held at the Pfister hotel so that all friends and family could attend with room to spare. She wore a baptismal gown that was made by Great Great Grandma Sickel for Grandma Barbara to wear when she was baptised. Both Aunt Sarah and Mom wore the same dress too. Welcome to the Catholic faith Rachel!

Week 7 Growth Picture
Since we got back a little late on Sunday - this week's picture was taken on Monday morning. With the very big Packer vs Viking game happening tonight, we started our support early by dressing Rachel in some Packer attire. However, Rachel, in her infinite wisdom, decided that napping prior to the game would be a good idea. There wasn't anything stopping this little one from trying to sleep! Go Pack Go!
Another big trip!
Another big trip is under the belt of 7 week old Rachel Handrich. She spent the better part of the weekend meeting more family members on her Dad's side of the family. The Hughes family (Linda, Mike, Nate, and Sarah) decided to sport their Viking purple gear, which was a bit unfair since we then weren't prepared with our Packer green and gold gear. Aunt Judy and Uncle Darrel also were able to visit. Beth, Gus, and Elise rounded out the crew to make Aunt Alice and Uncle Tom's home a busy one on Saturday night! We all had a wonderful time and Rachel behaved as best as she could. I don't think we lasted until 3am like her shirt says, but we certainly stayed up past our bedtime! Our camera didn't catch it, but Rachel is smiling more and more each day. She is also sleeping more and more each night! She is regularly sleeping 7 -8 hours at a time each night which both Dad
