The entertainer

Mommy and Daddy are starting to pack all sorts of boxes for our upcoming move, but I've managed to keep myself entertained while they slave away with boxes and tape.



"Tippy toes...tippy toes...darn it. I just can't quite reach over this chair yet."

Normally we only post one photo per week. However, this week, the progression of photos that Rachel had giving her bear hugs, kisses, and pats on the back, it was just too sweet to pass up the chance to post them all. She is a wonderfully sweet little girl who is getting so big before our very eyes!

We have been having some really great days this past week. I have been all smiles (minus one afternoon of apparently bad teething) and constant exploring. Dad thinks this outfit makes me look like I belong in a "Where's Waldo" book. Mom thinks it is a very cute outfit. I just know that I am comfortable while sporting my new size 3 shoes!

Memorial Day Weekend in Waupaca

What a weekend! Gorgeous weather and fun company with Grandma and Grandpa Handrich. Mommy and Daddy thought this would be the perfect weekend for my first splashes in the Chain 'o Lakes near Waupaca.

While I had fun in the water, I flashed one of my biggest smiles during my impromptu skydiving session with Daddy.



Getting my first taste of swimming was a great time, but Grandma and Grandpa didn't want me to get bored, so they also took me (and Mommy and Daddy) for a nice boat ride too. It didn't take me long to get my "sea legs" under me!

Of course, good girls like me obey all posted warnings...




Just call me "cooler girl"...




The three of us had a fantastic time, even though some of us (specific names will be kept confidential to protect the guilty) didn't always focus on the camera.

Week 40 Growth Photo

Can you believe it? Only 12 more weeks until I turn 1! In the mean time, I will continue to flash my pearly whites (I'm getting a few more these days). One of these days Mom or Dad will catch a picture of me standing on my own. I do it all the time and it's a lot of fun. Walking is next!
