With 100% respect to the saying, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" I will not divulge the exact happenings of our short girls trip this past weekend. However, I will share that we had a great time hanging out by the pool, sipping some drinks (pretty much every where we went), and gambling just a bit of cash to keep the Vegas economy strong. I can't wait for another girls trip soon!

Rachel's Baptism
October 17, 2009 was a very special day for Rachel Mary Handrich. She joined a community of faith through the sacrament of baptism. Rachel was VERY well behaved throughout the entire mass! Not even a whimper when the holy water hit her head...Dinner was held at the Pfister hotel so that all friends and family could attend with room to spare. She wore a baptismal gown that was made by Great Great Grandma Sickel for Grandma Barbara to wear when she was baptised. Both Aunt Sarah and Mom wore the same dress too. Welcome to the Catholic faith Rachel!

Smile Time!
This weeks big news is that Rachel is starting to smile more and more, and sometimes even at someone who is smiling at her! Nothing beats a smile from an infant, especially your own. We will keep this weeks entry short so that you have time to think of those who you enjoy getting smiles from too!
