Too young for genuine "bitter beer" face, but never too young to practice the expression.
"You want me to drink this bottle? Tell you what...how about I just sit here and look cute, and we call it a day?"

Memorial Day Weekend in Waupaca
What a weekend! Gorgeous weather and fun company with Grandma and Grandpa Handrich. Mommy and Daddy thought this would be the perfect weekend for my first splashes in the Chain 'o Lakes near Waupaca.
Treading carefully at first...
Then getting more comfortable...
And later enjoying a nice float in my inflatable ladybug...
While I had fun in the water, I flashed one of my biggest smiles during my impromptu skydiving session with Daddy.
Getting my first taste of swimming was a great time, but Grandma and Grandpa didn't want me to get bored, so they also took me (and Mommy and Daddy) for a nice boat ride too. It didn't take me long to get my "sea legs" under me!
Grandma H. knows how to make me smile...
Of course, good girls like me obey all posted warnings...
Just call me "cooler girl"...
The three of us had a fantastic time, even though some of us (specific names will be kept confidential to protect the guilty) didn't always focus on the camera.

Week 39 Growth Photo
The Month of May
It has been one busy month for the Handrich family! Mom and Dad told me that we are going to be moving soon...something about an accepted offer. Not really sure what that is all about. As long as I have my bed to sleep in, I'm good. We also took a visit to the Dr. again and I saw pictures of my new sibling. Apparently this new brother or sister will be joining us in September sometime. I think it is cool that I will have someone to pick on since that is all anyone does to me these days.
I am eating new foods and trying out some fruits too. Mom took a picture of me chopping away on an apple. I of course, am as cute as always.
Dad says I am a mischief maker. I always think I am pretty innocent. What could I do that is so bad!
Anyway, that was our month of May. More regular updates coming soon (Dad will be back in charge when he is done with the big Human Resources test he is taking next week. He actually updates the web-site on time).

The Great Outdoors
Mommy, Daddy, and I recently took a trip to Waupaca to see Grandpa and Grandma Handrich. Not too many boats cruising around the Chain 'o Lakes this time of year, but that didn't stop us from exploring Grandpa and Grandma's (docked) boat and other fun areas like the sandy beach...
While I'll need to wait until our next Waupaca visit to experience the water, I certainly enjoyed myself in the fresh air...
(Blogger's note: the black object in the above picture is actually a wooden bear. Of course, Daddy didn't actually include the entire bear in the picture, presumably because he was too busy adoring my ultra-cute face. Silly Daddy.)

Hiding and swinging - two of my favorite things
Now that I can pull myself up on almost anything, I've been able to sneak in spots that Mommy and Daddy probably don't think are ideal for me. But they'll soon learn - if I can see it, I'll figure out a way to get there...
...and I LOVE when Mommy takes me to the park during the day. The weather this spring hasn't been very warm, but I love the smell of fresh (urban) air!
